u kno in those really corny movies, the main character or the bad guy gets a dream telling them to stop doing something bad and start being good. And then that one dream changes their life 4evr?
if u haven't noticed, in the past i hav been vry mean to Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana. After a very freaky nightmare last night, my life has been changed (and scarred) forevr. I hav come 2 my senses and now will apologize to her.
Dear Hannah Montana,
I am sorry i hav been mean to u. I don't know u, and yet i hav been taunting u for ur stupid nickname (y do u hav to rhyme?), ur lack of taste in music, and other stuff that i will not name. The things i say at u may or may not b true, but i hav now come to say sorry. I know u don't know me, but still.
From,
Coco Juniper
I might hav been offending Hannah-montana fans in my numerous jabs at her. if i offended u by offending her, then i apologize. In the future, if i accidentally say something bad about HM, don't b afraid to slap me across the face. i'll understand. hopefully.
Still...it's still fun to listen to other ppl striking jabs at her. go to http://www.icarly.com/iSnaps/Default.asp?GalleryID=2000000038 to c wat i mean.
Peace out! ;) -CJ

French vs. Spanish
Me and this boy i sit next to in Math had an argument. I'm in french, and he's in spanish, and- since we're obviously both so immature- we had a large argument ovr which language was more widely spoken. It went a bit like this.
Him: "Mexico!"
Me: "Canada!"
Him: "Most of the U.S.!"
Me: "Madagascar!"
Him: "Peru!"
Me: "Africa!"
Him: "Spain!"
Me: "Well, duh!"
Him: "Spain counts too!"
Me: "I know, fine, FRANCE!"
...
this went on for a while.
...
and...he won the argument.
Apparently, more ppl speak spanish then french. I guess i should hav forseen that, but still.
C, this is how the order goes:
Chinese* (937,132,000)
Spanish (332,000,000)
English (322,000,000)
Bengali (189,000,000)
Hindi/Urdu (182,000,000)
Arabic* (174,950,000)
Portuguese (170,000,000)
Russian (170,000,000)
Japanese (125,000,000)
German (98,000,000)
French* (79,572,000)
Le sigh.....

A Little Web Lonely (And Then Some)
Hello all. Just writing 2 get this out of my system. It's been there 4 a while, but i wasn't motivated enough 2 spit it out at the time- only now i am. So, ahem, here i go-
Sometimes i feel like just the only blog on the net. You know, at the top bar of my blog is a button that says "Next blog". If u click on it, google will automatically send u 2 another blog. After 30 mins. of rapid clicking i wuz beginning 2 feel depressed. 1) cuz half the blogs i went to were abandoned years ago, and 2) the other half were by ppl 30 years older then me and writing about things nobody cares about- such as the George Bush. (i hate George Bush, btw. Who doesn't?!?!?!) after scrolling through hundreds of blogs, i began 2 feel like a loser. it seemed like i was the only person on the web that felt like expressing herself. ranting, blubbering on...yep, only me. It seemed weird going to all those abandoned blogs and thinking: "I feel like such a loser- i'm the only one that doesn't have a life, so bubbles randomly on her blog." Yeah. Bummer.
'Course, i was wrong. Finally i came to some interesting blogs. 1) was written by a girl called Racheal in Michigan, who ranted on and on about being fat. Which is ironic, because some ppl still consider me underweight. 'Course, u can always trust me 2 forget the name of the blog, about 45 minutes aftr looking at her posts. heh. heh. The next one was a whole lot less emo. naturally, the speaker was 1) a married woman (but young! She's still in da 20s! Don't scare me by thinking that i read old-lady posts.), 2) has some very immaturely mature friends (JenBun, hence.) and 3) has a fairly cool life. She's a hair-stylist. Cuz iv got nothing else 2do, i'll just start pasting quotes from her blog, and then tell u how they relate to me.
"I twittered earlier about how I love carrying a notebook in my purse. Ever since I was in junior high, I've had a habit of carrying some sort of a journal around with me.
I guess it's because I always fancied myself some sort of a writer, and I always had these weird thoughts in my head that I would jot down, and eventually, little scraps of paper took over my backpack, so I got myself a tiny notebook, and that's how it all started.
The journals from my early days were full of random crap; bits of transcribed phone conversations, movie times, phone numbers, homework assignments. As I got older, I started writing down my feelings, and my observations.
(Plus, I thought it would help me with that whole "air-of-mystery" thing. You know, the intense girl in the corner, scribbling away? Don't laugh. I'm awesome.)" - Posted by Tia, Tuesday, October 28, 2008
I used 2 hav a notebook in 6th grade that i would doodle in. Just doodles, mind u. I wasn't as deep as Tia in the essence that i would start scribbling down noble feelings. Personally, i feel that you can honestly tell a lot from a person's doodles. nowadays when i get bored i doodle a billion tiny, overlapping triangles.
--and as for wat Tia says about the whole "air-of-mystery" thing, i think that's pretty cool as well. It's fun to watch ppl try 2 copy my triangle design. It's frustrating to b copied, but then satisfying to c that they can't do it. Y? Cuz it's MY thing. Don't laugh. I'm awesome.
"Since I work in what is basically a customer service industry, if there are no customers, there is no industry. As a hairstylist, I don't see quite as much revenue lost as estheticians (facialists) and manicurists, but times are tough. For everyone.
This is unfortunate for me, because I am a spender. But in light of the current state of affairs, and the fact that saving a buck never killed anyone, I present you with Tia's Top Five Little Ideas on being Frugal and Fabulous (not necessarily in that order). It's not for everyone, saving money. It's certainly not for me. But what can you do? "A rainy day" might be coming faster than you think.
(Seriously.)
1) You can't stop going out to dinner. Think about the poor servers! They need money too! But maybe you can cut down to one night a week. And, you can just order an appetizer with an iced tea. Portions are huge these days, and iced tea refills are free. You still get all the ambiance and the going-out-ness of a restaurant, but your bill will be at least 25% less than if you ordered an entree. And if you're still hungry on the way home? Jack-in-the-Box has $0.99 tacos, and they are GOOD.
2) It's really nice to donate to charity. More people should do it. However, before you pack up the bag of your castoffs, consider a garage sale. JenBun and I had one a couple weeks ago, and we each made $50 on the stuff we sold. Everything that was left over, we donated. People got our great junk for cheap, we made a little money, and we still gave to charity. Everyone wins.
3) Pre-purchase a gift card to your favorite coffeehouse. I hate the idea of spending $5 on a cup of coffee, but I do it all the time, so last month I gave myself a coffee limit. I bought a gift card for $50, because I decided that was my coffee limit for the month. If I wanted a coffee, I only used the card. When it ran out, I knew that meant I had to make my coffee at home. I THOUGHT before I BOUGHT, so I ended up spending probably half the amount I'd usually spend in a month. I drank less coffee, which is better for me, and spent less money, which is better for Hubs' blood pressure.
4) Buy a reusable water bottle. Disposable ones are so last season. I recently bought this bottle (in pink, clearly), and I love it. I carry it with me every day, and I refill it wherever I go. It's amazing how many places have water fountains or water coolers. I took it to the movies the other day, and I was really proud of myself because they charge $4.50 for a bottle of water there. Can we say "highway robbery"? Plus, a reusable bottle is better for you and the environment because most of them are now BPA-free." Posted by Tia, Tuesday, September 30, 2008
I think that's cool. I especially liked the one with the garage sale. I kinda do and kinda don't want to hav my own shop. 1) i don't want to suffer all the blah-blah paperwork and the direct blah-blah economy thing that is affecting store-owners head-0n. Still, iv always had this kinch for wanting to sell my stuff. I want to hav a garage sale badly. The last time i had a garage sale was in 1st grade and the only thing we sold was some vacum-cleaner bags and a McDonald's toy. Lame, huh. I hav a lot of clothes stacked away that i don't wear, so i feel that i can pretty much start a yard sale if i wanted to. And, i could definetly steal some clothing from Lizic and Bramble to add a male selection to the sale. Bsides, i could use the cash. With more moolah in my wallet, if u do the math, it means more clothes to buy at the mall. Huzzah!
Okay, i think iv talked too much in this post. I started about being web lonely, and now im mooning about garage sales. I'll stop now. Oh, yeah, and comment please!

Fun Words! Heheheh...
It's fun 2 make up words, ya know? it just is. here's my random brain dump of made-up sayings, 4 u 2 enjoy.
skhnazl- (skn-nazz-ull): talking really fast cuz ur really excited. (example: "Slow down, sis, ur beginning 2 skhnazl.")
hikikukikukikikikukuki - (it's pronounced like it's spelled): something u say 2 some1 when u really want them 2 shut up, or their skhnazl-ing is beginning 2 bug u. (this actually works 2. if some1's talking and all of a sudden u say this, they get all confused and b quiet.) (try saying hikikukikukikikikukuki 10 times fast!)
hiccupolitusease - (Hih-cup-oh-lite-uss-eese): 1 when someone can't stop hiccuping. 2 when hiccups becomes contagous.
excairquo - (exx-airh-kwo): from the words "excelleration of air quotes" or "extreme air quotes", exairquo is a person who overuses the air-quote-gesture. (example: "Stop being such a exairquo!")
iZombie3 - (ei- zom- bee-thawee): a person who is addicted 2 ipods, MP3s, CD players, radios, (any type of music-playing device.)
schnakhavkahc - (pronounce -or attempt 2 pronounce- it anyway u want. u hav no idea how many different possibilities their r in this word!): mysterious gunk (u kno- that icky stuff u find on the sidewalk, but u don't kno what it is. the gross gooey gunk.)
OML - (Oh-Em-El): an abbriviation 4 O.h M.y L.asanga! (i made this up, but iv been trying my best 4 this 2 catch on, so if 1 day this is a famous word- u'll kno who made it!)
snarky - (snarr-kii): when some1 is acting extremely or abnormally grouchy. (P.S. i did not make up this words. Hundreds of other ppl -maybe even thousands of other ppl- r already using this. 1 of these ppl is Dark Fire Moon. im just saying this bcuz i think she may b slightly mad if i didn't mention her.)
Rate 'em! Out of 5 stars (5 being best, obviously), rate each of "my" words based on originality, catchiness, function, purpose, etc., etc., etc. Then, u can come up with a few of ur OWN words. big debates will b flaring up in the comments box, so b part of it. FOR PETE'S SAKE- COMMENT! PLEASE!
Ahem, no, i do not know a Pete.

Spooky Hap'nin's
Things in my house have been getting a li'l spooky lately. For one thing, my mum decided 2 go ovrboard w/ halloween and snazz up some decorations. She got what looks like a cheap plastic bowl with a fake gray hand sticking out of it. it's supposed 2 hav a motion detector on it, so when u reach in the bowl 4 some candy, the hand grabs u and says in a spooky voice: "hahahahahaha, trick or treat!" of course, we got lucky and got the one novelty item that doesn't work but tries 2 make it up 2 us anyway. So when u reach into the bowl and wave ur hand around, there is about a 10% chance (no- make that 5%) that the hand will move. at all. But, in the middle of the night i wake up to: "hahahahahahaha, trick or treat!" that hand hates me, man. 'tis not fair!
and 2 top that all off, there has been some mystical appearences of Lego, so now whenevr i step i hav 2 b careful not to prod myself w/ lego. cuz that stuff hurts 2 step on. the only thing worse then stepping on lego is stepping on a nail, but thankfully there has been none of those around (oh no, i didnt jinx it did i..?)
o, and i didn't mention that my cats hav been going beserk- right? well, they hav. Sunset is like a li'l demon, lurking about in the hallway...awaiting it's next victim. When you're walking, you'll feel a POW, and there u go. Demon-cat wrestlin' ur foot. and this really stinkz if u happen 2 encounter him in the mi'l of da night. Right, this is me: *walking...walking...walking...SCREAMS AT TOP OF LUNGS AND FALLS FACE FIRST ONTO GROUND...glares at orange kitty*. the last thing u want 2 do is tussle w/ a li'l puddy-tat when it's da middle of the night and ur all groggy (well, this is the last thing aftr stepping on a nail. OOPS! did i just jinx myself AGAIN?!) it's really funny how some ppl think cats r peaceful snoozy, sleep-the-whole-day-away (which is some-wat true, cat's sleep alot) cutsy fur-balls. WRONG! they're vicious. ...or at least sunset is.

Unusual Paragraph (Hmmm...)
u hav NO idea how hard it is 2 keep trak of this blog w/ school bouncing around and such. I'd b looking at something kinda cool and think, "hey- that might b a good idea 4 a blog." and then i'd b like "O MY GOD! MY BLOG!" and when i finally come here, i'd smack myself in the head when i find that the last time i posted wuz like a week ago.
this isn't the case. here, i wuz lucky cuz i got reminded of my blog a li'l earlier. so u only missed me for 3 dayz. 's'all good.
so here's wat reminded me of my blog. Okay, here it is- it's a riddle. the 1st person who answers this correctly gets a prize, btw. But u'll hav 2 wait 2 find out wat it is (mainly bcuz i haven't thought up an idea of wat the prize could b).
Thanx again to Bellababy who gav me this riddle! ^_^
This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious as to just how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it. It looks so ordinary and plain that you would think nothing was wrong with it. In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is highly unusual though. Study it and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out. Try to do so without any coaching!

The Final Countdown (Read First!)
I'm a sucker 4 good music. It's true. But i might point out that good music isn't always cool music. For example, i kinda like this song from the '80s which sounds pretty lame when i say it. Of course, i didn't know it wuz old when i started liking it, but y'know. whatev. It's called the "FINAL COUNTDOWN" and it's by some band who's name i don't know. i think it's called "Europe." i dunno, i'll get back to u on that. Ovr at the side-bar is the music video. Some of the effects the band did (such as the explosions) were AWESOME, but don't linger on the visual. First of all, as soon as u c the hair some of the band members had u'll want 2 close the window. i mean, come on, don't those guys know what a haircut is? as in, the cutting part? and their pants r so tight. Ugh! *shivers* so don't judge them by wat u c. just listen 2 da music.
dare i giv u the address already? here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZkllM8znx4
a boy once showed me this song and i thought it wuz really awesome. he actually told me about it ...well a year ago if im not correct. maybe a l'i'l less. But i nevr really took the time 2 appreciate it much b4 i took the time 2, u know, really listen 2 it. but it's good. the song, i mean. the song's good. c'mon, giv it a chance!
and in comparison 2 other songs other ppl like, this song isn't actually that old. y'kno. if that helps.

August Rush's Guitar Solo
Awesome Guitar, August Rush!
There's a clip at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pnz5W9afayc&feature=related from the movie- August Rush. its' about a boy w/ incredible musical talent. i don't wanta get a whole lot more indeph then that, cuz that'll ruin it. also cuz, uh, i haven't finished watching the movie yet. I got about 3/4 the way through. but im seeing if i can find a way 2 c it. i might go 2 Blockbuster or something 2 get it. anyways, as i wuz saying- this dude has got amazing potential. like- whoa!i thought it wuz wicked awesome. so go c the movie. if i remember correctly, it's PG- but i'll c if i can check. anywho- u know the link. go watch it. ;)

Oh HICCUP the HICCUP terrible HICCUP pain!
I hav a really sore throat today. I can't talk about anything for more then 20 seconds without coughing. and by coughing, do assume a mixture of the following: spluttering, wheezing, choking, retching, gasping, crying, etc., etc., etc. it's, like, sooo not cool. And 2 make matters worse, iv got da hiccups. Here r the results:
Hiccup!
Pain!
Hiccup!
More pain!
Hiccup!
OH, MY THROAT IS ON FIRE!!!!
Hiccup!
*whimpers*
Hic
Make
Hic
It
Hic
STOP!!!
...
Hiccup!
yeah, so im not feeling up 2 anything much. which is a shame, cuz i had like this AWESOME blog post planned out. But that's not going to happen bcuz all i am prepared to do is sulk like a deflated balloon and moon about myself.
Moon about myself? you ask
No, i do not even know what i meant by that.
So, try this. Think of it this way, my throat is in an sauna...that's on fire...on a volcano...on the sun. (no, i did not quote that properly. i think i might have missed a few words, but w/e. If u can guess where i got that "quote" from then you will recieve a...well, something "good." (yes, the quotation marks r there 4 a reason.))
My pain all started this morning, if i remember correctly...i was eating cereal so naturally my throat got real banged up there (cuz i don't eat cereal w/ milk) (yeah, im weird). so this is wat it's like:
*bite out of cereal*
SCRAAAAAAAPE!
*bite out of cereal*
CRUUUUUUUNCH!
*bite out of cereal*
CRACKRACKRACK
*bite out of cereal (you'd hav thought that by now i would hav learned my lesson)*
CLANGCLANGCLANG!
*bite out of cereal (goes 2 show how desperately hungry i am)*
BASHBONKBLAST
*finally puts down cereal and goes 4 a pop-tart instead*
about time!
----remember that this was all happening inside my throat. I do not sit at the breakfast table belting out weird sound effects. no, this wuz all the drastic anonymous sounds from my mouth. yep, it trues.
And then 2 make matters worse, i had 2 sing 4 chorus. and, naturally, Mr. D. had 2 teach us all the super squeaky high notes when my throat is still wounded. So, not only did i scar every1 that happened 2 b near me 4 life bcuz of my terrible attempts at singing w/ a store throat, but i also hurt myself. self-esteem wise. not that i had evr been able 2 sing well w/ a healthy throat, but still. it burns. :'(
so now, bcuz this has drastically wounded my throat 4 life, i cannot hit the high notes any more (or at least that's wat i suspect will happen.) so instead of going "tweetweetweet" i will go "tweetweetDUNNNN!" and blast out a super low note.
Another reminder about the oh-so-important sad song contest. So far i hav, since i hav last checked, ONE response. I know there r more of u out there, so go on, turn something in! it doesn't hav 2 b perfect y'know. oh, u know u wants to!

How 2 B Funny- Coco Juniper Style
hmm...i am rambling more then is healthy, rn't i?
here r some points on wat i learned ovr the past makes ppl laff (results may vary). i listed them, c?
1) any kind of joke that haz the word "bozo", "nincompoop", or "butt" in it.
2) any kind of joke with a farting noise in it.
3) any kind of joke with George Bush in it.
4) when u laff. (ever heard of the theme that laffing is contagious? yah, even if the joke is really really lame, if u start laffing like a maniac aftr it's suddenly halarious. laffing in nature's symphony...except when some1 goes so far that milk shoots out of 'is nose.)
if u notice, i apply to #1 the most out of all of them. u can look back through all my posts, and u can c that the funnier of them all r ones that have weird words in it. I don't like 2 do #2, and #4 a whole lot though. For 1 thing, if u do #2 too often u may get a very bad reputation. yeah, think of all the nicknames u can get out of that. and i don't like #4 cuz laffing like a maniac ovr something stupid is bound 2 scare ppl.
i probably shouldn't hav put this post up bcuz the moral in this is misleading. 2 clear things up, saying "bozo" all the time isn't always funny. some ppl will think it's childish and immature. (though i must say that i prefer lame-o words like 'bozo' to some of the stuff kids r saying these days.) and another thing, doing every 4 of those tips i listed won't make u a jock. ppl r a lot more complex then 2 get tickled by George Bush slams 24-7. yeah, so try not 2 take my tips up 2 a level where it's just frightening. b urself. Rock out! ;)
*** if i strain my brain i can possibly remember 4 da future, if there r other tips. keep tuning in 2 cocojuniper.blogspot.com 2 keep posted on strange stuff like this!

Ticking
October 2nd? R u kidding? Wow, i haven't been on 4 a while. i'm sorry.
quick reminder bout da contest. It's super cool, and 4 details u can go 2 it's post. Iv gotta feeling that the only ppl who come 2 my blog any more is me (doesn't fill the void), and pebbles (luv ya like a sistah! ^_^). well, i hope i'll get back my audience soon.
im running low on ideas of wat 2 write my posts on, so i'm gonna ramble on about wat makes me tick.
Wat makes me tick? hmm. Basically, it's more or less of the following iv listed b-low.
1) Being in a small compact space filled w/ other ppl when someone passes gas. This drives me nuts! call me oversensitive, but i hate it when someone farts- especially when there's no escaping it- like when ur sitting w/ them in a car.
2) basketball. since im rather tall, lotsa ppl try and make me play basketball, saying that i'll b "so good." This always pulls a switch on my nerve somewhere bcuz i simply cannot play basketball. 4 my life.
3) prejudice. if u don't know wat this means, it's the act 2 judge some1 b4 u get 2 know them. this is a real pit-and-stinkah 4 me bcuz 95% of the kids at my school r a real pal of prejudice. which bugs me so bad.
4) sexist ppl. I hate it when ppl judge some1 else 4 their gender, or think that they're bttr then some1 else bcuz of their gender. it's crazy! GRRRR!
5) rainforest music. u know that soft tinkly music ppl switch on when their doing yoga, or trying 2 relax? yah, that ticks me. instead of calming me down it just makes me restless, and fidgity.
6) disloyalty. i can't think of anything 2 add 2 this.
7) when it's all quiet (like when ur taking a math test) and ur so hungry that ur belly starts ROARING, and evry1 looks at u like ur a loony.
8) stealing. it always ticks me when my bros steal somthing from me. like this time that Bramble ate my sandwich and i wuz so mad that i threw a carrot stick at him. not my idea of revenge, but it still made me feel good. kinda.
9) Soulja Boi (is that how u spell it?). this is a song that evry1 seems 2 loooooooove dancing to. i can't understand it. 2 me it sounds like: "blublublublublublub SOULJA BOI blublublublublublublub SUPERMAN blublublublublub." i don't like rap music, and iv heard that song so many times that i know it by heart. and yet the blubs nvr fail 2 leav.
10) when ur trying 2 explain something 2 some1 when some1 else completely inturrupts, changes the conversation, and doesn't understand how rude their being. OR, an alternativ 2 this is when ur telling some1 something and then all of a sudden, they just STOP listening right in the middle, and then u hav 2 repeat it ovr and ovr and ovr again until it finally sticks.

SiCKO Healthcare Issues
Okay, so at my school, in my grade, on my team we r doing debates on the presidential candidates- Obama and McCain. so, naturally, we started talking about some factors that will impact us based on america's decision on which man should b president. 1 of them was healthcare.
y is healthcare so important? well it's wat pays for all ur bills on things that help u stay alive. of course, as u may or may not know-- america's healthcare is among wat is considered the worst there is. Micheal Moore certainly agrees that insurance companies rn't giving their clients what they deserved. One client didn't get her med. bills paid for because her body-mass index was too large. in other words, they didn't giv her the cash bcuz she was FAT. another lady didn't hav her ambulence ride to the emergency room paid for bcuz she didn't inform the insurance company b4hand. that's stupid-- how wuz she gonna know that she was going to need an ambulence b4 the car accident actually happened, and wat- was she supposed to call the insurance company while she was mangled and unconscious on the road?
Workers hav also been quitting their jobs at the insurance companies bcuz they feel that their policy, their methods, and their message r all terrible. Some insurance companies giv a bonus to the workers who deny the most clients. that's not right- and that's certainly turning the workers a little biased.
so, enough with da healthcare angry ramblin's. to cut it short, ppl r paying big money 4 a healthcare that doesn't giv them wat they deserve.
B4 the ramblings took control of a hefty amount of post space, i wuz mentioning something about Micheal Moore, wuzn't i? Micheal Moore is a dude who doesn't believe that american healthcare is worth it. so, he started speakin' out against it, rebellling a little, gettin' the word out-- on youtube!
so ovr at the side-bar u'll notice a video. that's his TRIP TO CUBA, 1 way 2 get the medical treatment ppl deserve. actually, the story behind it is very loooooong, and he has many episodes of his SiCKO (that's the name of his rebelling healthcare videos) trilogy. However, i only hav 1- so that explains some of the loose ties at the end. however, i thought that the message was clear there, so go on--- enjoy.
**EXPLANATION ON VIDEO:
as u know healthcare in America is painfully expensive, i mean whopper expensive. however, prisioners- murderers, in American prison get quality healthcare for FREE. So, thinking this was super unfair- Micheal Moore and a lot of other desperate Florida citizens boated ovr 2 a small section of Cuba where the prisoners were kept. At the gates of the base, they demanded the medical attention- no more, no less, then what the evil-doers were getting. they did not get their wish, but after sailing to Cuba, they realized that the hospitals there were quite good. In america, the prescription 4 one lady would hav been $120, but in Cuba- the equivelence is 5 cents. 5 cents!? W-O-W. anyway, they got wat they deserved in the end, although they did hav 2 get ovr some bitter boundries dividing the two nations- and focus on what was more important.
srry bout da video. it's not upgraded well so it takes a LONG time ta load. hopefully it'll get bttr.

TIES R WICKED
Ties are truly wonderful things. Seriously! and they're not just a man thing, i think girls can use them 2. in fact, i created a list on what u can use it for....
1) use it as a pretty scarf
2) use it as a belt.
3) use it as a...well, a tie.
4) keep it around your neck and use it as a whip for self-defense, etc. heh...heh...
5) use it as a headband...erm, a really long headband (good if u hav a very large head.)
6) wrap it around...and around...and around...and around, ur wrist as a bracelet. fasten w/ pin.
7) use it as a hair-tye to put ur hair in a pony tail (and whenever u turn around, a long piece of tie will whap someone on the head.)
8) attatch something small and heavy to either end of the tie and uv got urself a real nifty pair of ninn-chucks (or how is it u spell it?)
9) if it's really cool looking u can hang it on your wall.
10) do some really complicated form of origami on it. ^_^
i think ties r cool. they can hav so many cool patterns and textures and they can even b shiny or sparkly! and they're fun 2 use. i remember on the Suite Life of Zack and Cody (a TV show, if u don't realize), Maddie likes 2 use ties...alot. and i think that's cool! i think im gonna use ties more often.
as in, im wearing a tie 2 school tommorow. well, not the whole day, just Social Studies- bcuz im doing a debate in front of the class. my group and i plan 2 dress up like lawyers (heh. we'll c how that works out.) as in, skirt, neat and well-ironed shirt, hair in a very very tight bun, glasses that u will perch on the very end of ur nose (or some spectacles don't hurt), dressy shoes, and a tie. im not so sure about the granny glasses, i tried that and aftr a while it gets really really annoying 2 wear sunglasses on the tip of ur nose always, and as for the bun...HA! and anyways, i doubt i could do a bun, my hair's too short! ^_^. and naturally, i plan 2 wear a tie.
the tie im wearing is pink w/ white stripes, and it's so incredibly hard to get it on you. After i practically strangled the tie, i asked my mom 2 help, and in a flash she had it in a perfect tie. all she did was squirm, tuck it under, loop it through, flow over it, slash inbetween, twist, scrunch up, etc., etc., etc. lemme tell u, i thought it would b easy to get a tie on, but it ain't! so don't hurt urself trying. unless, ur particularily brave. and if that's the case- kudos 2 u. good luck w/ that.
so, yeah....ties r cool. Remember this 2 future generations.

Babbles...Babbles...Babbles
Okay, okay- it's true that i haven't been coming 2 my blog a lot and it hasn't been updated as consistently as it wuz ovr the summer. that's understandable right? i mean- hello- school? u get that right? uh-huh, yeah, yes? so, now that iv confessed this blog's faults i'll move on- bcuz this isn't a very interesting topic.
so wat do i base my blog post's on? usually i get my ideas from books, TV, ppl, etc. Unfortunetly i hav run dry of ideas at this point, and im sorry 2 say that im too lazy 2 go do some real research.
yes, u heard it from me.
so, if im not gonna write my blog posts on that then what do i write it on? *ponder* *ponder* usually, my friends, i get it from my own brain.
unfortunetly just shifting through random memories in ur brain will take ages 2 get something relitively good. this is usually bcuz ur brain throws out many of it's memories in, like wat?- 2 minutes? 2 seconds? something like that. so, it's very hard 2 write about something u don't know what 2 write about. and also- hav u evr come up w/ a time when u wanted 2 write about something but u just couldn't? that's a writers block and yes they can b a problem.
howevr, lucky me, i hav the ability 2 babble if i truly wanted 2. if i were in a light, fuzzy, bored kindof mood then it is more likely that i would babble. on a normal basis, i can control myself. but, if i really try to babble- then my peeps- i make success. I know, right- u didn't c that coming. @.@
but babbling can actually b kindof fun 2 listen 2- just as long as the rambles don't blab on 4evr. if uv evr heard someone babble then u'd understand what i mean. they could b talking about- oh, i don't know- star wars, and then end up with a deep explanation on y they don't like George Bush. sometimes that makes u go- "whoa. where did the link come from? *brain twitch*" howevr- other times when u can manage 2 keep up, it's rather amusing. and fun. u learn alot about the person. perhaps more then u evr dreamed about knowing.
...
in a good way
...
usually, anyway.
so y exactly am i writing this post? what on earth am i talking about? where did u go wrong? i can hear u thinking that- yes, i can. and 2 answer that, i'll simply say that i wuz giving u a good idea of what babbling wuz. howevr, lucky 4 u, i didn't babble so much that i hurt myself, or u, and i managed 2 stay on 1 irrelevent, unimportant, downright stupid topic. so, you're welcome. if u evr felt like looking, u can scan through my posts 2 c where i babble on. the one w/ the "nude barbies" or the "air freshner" is a great place 2 start if ur looking 4 babbling. and, u can look 4ward 2 much more babbles in the future- bcuz that's what coco juniper is all about. KIDDING! u didn't seriously believe that? *laffs*

Cakeriffic

I <3 cake! wahoo!
on the top right is a steak. no, a cake. no a...ceak? or a stake? it looks like a steak, but it's made from the ingrediants of a cake, so what does it taste like? hmm, i wonder.
don't laff- it's "special". and spiky too. It's truly unique, but yet... too spiky for me. i might hav 2 go 2 a hospital aftr i hav a bit o that. Still, giv it points, after all puffer fish r cool. erm, i think. and, i suppose it's original. erm...i suppose. but don't laff- it's special.
i like this cake as well. it's unique, violent, interesting, violent, original, violent, weird, and violent. U got da idea, right? VIOLENCE! not my kinda wedding cake, if u know wat i mean. wedding's r supposed 2 b happy, and heart-warming, not violent. erm...right? iv nevr actually been 2 a wedding b4, so....
got any fun cake stories? b sure 2 comment here- only at cocojuniper.blogspot.com! or, if u don't hav any cake stories- make one up. we'll try 2 guess if it's real or not. or, just tell us wat ur favorite dessert is (don't worry, i won't get offended if u don't say cake.)

9/11
Pleez take your time 2 go 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDh_pvv1tUM and watch the video. i know i usually like 2 joke and fool, b weird and make fun of things on this blog, but now i kinda wanta b serious. if u can't handle that, then im sorry. tuff luck.
“Freedom itself was attacked this morning, by a face-less coward…”
For once, I agree with what President Bush has to say. The 9/11 was a terrible attack on the WTC, and though I did not understand the seriousness of it when it occurred, I can now recognize its impact on the U.S. Before the terrorist attack, traveling by plane was as simple as it is to hop on a bus, but now the government complicates security immensely- knowing that if security might fail, another attack like the 9/11 may occur. I think the attack on the WTC was more sad then it was frightening. The part that touched me the most was when you could see the people jumping off the building, or when I heard about the wives receiving last calls from their husband. It ached inside to see that, and I know that others felt that way too. I remember how the plane swooped into the tower, and you could see the rippling of the building. Then, when the second plane plummeted into the offices, the mass of rubble blew up in billows of smoke and debris. That is why I fully agree with George Bush’s statement.
“…And Freedom will be defended.”

Alagaesia- The Land of 'Inheritence'
Eragon, is a fantasy read written by Christopher Paolini. He starting writing Eragon when he graduated from high school at fifteen. He became a New York Times best-selling author at ninetten. Out of the entire Inheritence trilogy, Chris has so far gotten through two books so far- Eragon and Eldest. Like other books, Eragon can b seen as 'boring' or 'confusing', but i actually think it's a good action-packed core book. i also think u should try it- bcuz it's definetly worthwhile.
i first read this book in 4th grade, not that i think any 4th graders should try reading it. it's kindof confusing 2 some ppl, though how it's confusing idk. so, i got bored and picked it up. there wuz sooooo many new things i read this time that i missed the other many times i read it in 4th-5th grade. it's a great book. seriously.
as i wuz going through the book, i marked a few short segments that i really, really liked. unfortunetly, i cannot show 2 many of these segments bcuz it's a 1-way spoiler 4 this book. so, i found this excerpt. i read it ovr a few times and i don't think it givs away anything 2 huge. i thought it wuz cute...
The herbalist's shop had a cheery sign and was easy to find. A short, curly-haired woman sat by the door. She was holding a frog in one hand and was writing with the other. Eragon assumed that she was Angela, the herbalist. On either side of the store was a house. "Which one do you think it is?" he asked.
Brom deliberated, then said, "Let's find out." He approached the woman and asked politely, "Could you tell us which house Jeod lives in?"
"I could." She continued writing.
"Will you tell us?"
"Yes." She fell silent, her pen scribbling faster than ever. The frog on her hand croaked and looked at them with baleful eyes. Brom and Eragon waited uncomfortably, but she said no more. Eragon was about to blurt something out when Angela looked up. "Of course I'll tell you! All you have to do is ask. Your first question was whether or not I could tell you, and the second was if I would tell you. But you never actually put the question to me."
"Then let me ask properly," said Brom with a smile. "Which house is Jeod's? And why are you holding a frog?"
"Now we're getting somewhere," she bantered. "Jeod is on the right. And as for the frog, he's actually a toad. I'm trying to prove that toads don't exist- that there are only frogs."
"How can toads not exist if you have one on your hand now?" interrupted Eragon. "Besides, what good will it do, proving that there are only frogs?"
The woman shook her head vigorously, dark curls bouncing. "No, no, you don't understand. If I prove toads don't exist, then this is a frog and never a toad. Therefore, the toad you see now doesn't exist. And," she raised a small finger, "if I can prove there are only frogs, then toads won't be able to do anything bad- like make teeth fall out, cause warts, and poison or kill people. Also, witches won't be able to use any of their evil spells because, of course, there won't be any toads around."
"I see," said Brom delicately. "It sounds interesting, and I would like to hear more, but we have to meet Jeod."
"Of course," she said, waving her hand and returning to her writing.
"Once they were out of the herbalist's hearing, Eragon said, "She's crazy!"
Like it? It's only a small part of Eragon, though. If ur curious, the woman- Angela the herbist- was actually based on Chris' sister. Cool! and btw, u'll b hearing more of Angela throughout the series so ur not done w/ her yet! ;)
INHERITENCE REPORT: Book three in the cycle is coming out soon- and it's only 12 days away (from when im writing this!) if u want the exact time you have 2 wait, and u want 2 learn more- u can go to http://www.alagaesia.com/index.php . Brisingr, is said 2 b a hit, but don't take my word 4 it! ;)

Sunset, the Pokey Kitten
WELCOME, THE NEWEST ADDITION 2 THE JUNIPER FAMILY! SUNSET!
meow! that's right, Sunset is a cat. This 8-week-old kitten is super-active and totally out-going. His previous owner was right when she said he "certainly has a personality!" This guy ain't shy at all, quite different from my 5-year-old cat Callie! My brother, Lizic, named him Sunset, though i flatter myself that i actually came up w/ the name. Lizic, Sunset's owner, liked Sunset bcuz it reminds him of his soft orange coat, and pokey white paws! He's a bit nippy, but so playful. His favorite toy is a straw tied to a long piece of string. he has light blue-green eyes, and he loves to eat my hair!
But enough about that- onward 2 another matter: Callie. Callie is timid, shy, and just a bit cowardly. Completely different then this outgoing, adventurous, and nosy kit, u can c. so, we wondered how she would react to this new addition of the Juniper family. The good news is, she hasn't eaten the bouncy dude. The down news, is that she doesn't seem too fond of him either! When he first arrived, she took to staring at him with her wide green eyes, for about 10 minutes. Then she stayed down in the basement, and hasn't come up. Jealous, probably. Since we've been busy trying to settle him in, she has been keeping 2 herself a lot. Me, my mom, and my bros have been playing w/ her. If she knows that we still luv her, she may not b so envious.
Sunset appears to like the place. and everyone luvs him, so perhaps it will work out. after all, Callie hasn't eaten him- so maybe that's a sign that it's all gonna work out! ehhh, well we'll c how it all works out.
To Moon: hey Moon, d'u still come 2 this blog? U should meet Sunset sometime, he kinda reminds me of Ginny, except a li'l less fluffy. He is adorable! ^_^

Fortune Cookie Fortunes (And Me Yapping On About Wat the Right And Wrong Ways to Open a Fortune Cookie)
Normally, i just assumed fortune cookies were some cheap novelty thing. but actually, they turned out 2 b very interesting. honestly, fortune cookies r posessed! The other day i had chinese food, and 4 out of teh 5 family member in my family got fortunes. here r what they r:
my mum: "never trouble trouble till trouble troubles you."
Bramble: "let hatred turn into friendship because of your existence."
Lizic: "learn to listen, not hear."
Me: "not having a goal is more to be feared then not reaching one."
i like my mum's fortune best. at first it sounds like gibberish, but once u get past that.... and lizic's makes sense too. I'm okay with mine. i mean, it's true and it makes sense, but i honestly don't c how it relates to me.
but, thats all irrelevent at the moment, wat i really wanta talk about is the fortune i found today. i had the combo for my locker in my jean pocket, and when i wuz looking 4 it, i found this fortune instead! this is wat it said:
"trust your intuition. the universe is guiding your life."
I can't remember when i got it. i remember asking some1 what 'intuition' meant, but i can't remember exactly when i got it! errughh, that really bugs me. anyway, i liked the fortune.
fortune cookies r fun. i especially like the ones w/ "learn chinese" in the back of it. It'll have teh chinese symbol, a thing on how to pronounce it, and what it means. at the time it's fun, but physically it doesn't do me any good bcuz i usually 4get it after like an hour. which is a bummer, bcuz chinese always sounds so cool.
and another thing. i wuz told that there's apparently a 'right' and 'wrong' way to open a fortune cookie. howevr, i forget wat the right way is. is it, pulling on the two ends. or do u bite the tips? or do u smash it w/ ur fist? i dunno. i usually just chomp on it. that's always worked for me, except sometimes i eat the fortune in the cookie. well, i don't anymore, but i stay on guard. cuz paper ain't supposed 2 b good 4 u. i think, anyway. siiiiiiiiigh. well, leav comments, my peeps.

Vanessa Who?!
"I was in Florida on vacation with my family and we were at the mall. There were tons of people there, and I swore I saw Vanessa Hudgens walk by. I ran out of the store screaming, "Vanessa Hudgens!" I took my flip-flop off and asked if she could sign it. When she finally turned around and took off her sunglasses, i realized not only that it was not Vanessa, it was a man. The entire mall was staring at me, and i ran like the wind!"

McCain vs. Obama
As u probably should b aware of, the presidential elections 4 the U.S. r in Novembr, and their r two participants. John McCain, the republican and Barack Obama, the democrat. Below, i hav some info on some of the main bullets. then, when u hav decided who YOU would like 4 president, vote at the side-bar! pleez take your time 2 read all of it.
b4 we begin, i would like 2 refresh a bit on what republicans and democrats r. i think of it this way. Remember the saying "all for one, and one for all"? Well the republicans represent the "one for all" statement. they care more about the summary of the U.S. of america. If 4 some reason, some individual groups of ppl r having trouble, they will sympathize, but has to let it go 4 they r 2 busy overlooking for what most of the economy needs. Democrats represent the "all for one" statement, i think. They tend 2 have higher taxes, so that the "all" can focus on the "ones" or the individual groups. They work 4 everyone.
But pleez, don't quote me 2 much. im not an expert. a smarticle- but not an expert. there may b loopholes 2 that, above.
JOHN McCAIN:
He has been the Arizona senator for over 20 years, he is a navy pilot and war hero, and is married 2 Cindy (with four sons and three daughters- all grown). A fun fact is taht he enjoys barbequing, his favorite seasoning is Hog's Breath! a startling fact is that he's old. Like, 72 years old!
education: parents will choose good schools for their children. If their neighborhood school doesn't meet certain standards, parents will be able to send their child to another school.
economy: taxes will be lower for middle-class families. There will be programs to help people in danger of losing their homes to pay for their houses.
iraq war: U.S. troops will stay in Iraq until the democratic government is stable and the Iraqi army is able to protect the country.
healthcare: anyone who pays for health insurance will recieve money from the government. This will allow people to buy the insurance they like best.
enviorment: big businesses will have to buy permits to release greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. the government will encourage the development of cleaner sources of energy.
BARACK OBAMA:
he is younger then McCain (at 47), and was the Illinois senator since 2005. He is a lawyer specialized in civil rights, and is married to Michelle (has two daughters, ages six and nine). a fun fact is that he plays basketball and is writing a children's book! his idea is 4 a "change."
education: struggling students will get extra help. after-school programs will be improved. the government will pay part of the tuition for most college students, helping everyone get a college education.
economy: taxes will be lower for working families. the government will invest in "green" technologies, which will create new high-paying jobs.
iraq war: U.S. troops will begin to leave Iraq immediately. With the help of the United Nations, Iraqi leaders will be pressured to agree on rules for governing their country.
healthcare: an affordable, high-quality health insurance plan will be availible to everyone. Needy families will have help paying for it.
environment: big businesses will hav to buy permits to release greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. the government will invest in cleaner sources of energy.
**some of the info on John and Barack r quoted from the DG (discovery girls) magazine.

Ramblings....
i hav an unexplainable knack 4 being unintentionally funny. sometimes, i'll just b putting aloud my thoughts when- baaam! laffter. at me. it's frustrating! and they won't explian what wuz so funny! UGH!
then of course, there r the opposite times, when i tell a joke but nobody gets it. so, i end up having to explain it deeply and recite it a few times be4 i get evn a hesitant chuckle. and it feels rather lame- when u hav 2 resort 2 that. sometimes it's bttr if they do admit that they don't know what wuz so funny about the joke. bcuz sometimes, they just pretend 2 laff at my joke, which can b hard bcuz ltr when i make a reference 2 it, this pitiful puzzlement and confusion clouds their face and yeah....
im so very sorry, im sure u don't like listening 2 my ramblings...

Twilight Book Update!
The Twilight Book Series is an incredible collection by Stephanie Meyer! Let's c what one fan thinks of this outrageous new book, a mixture of action, horror, romance, but mostly VAMPIRE. It is described as "a love story with bite." And that's true! But don't take my word 4 it (iv only read the first book so far!)- take Pebbles! i'm sure you're all familiar w/ her from the Pebble's Takeover, and now she is going 2 giv us a word on the books.
What did you like the best in Twilight?
Bella nagging Edward to make her a vampire.
How could the book be improved?
More time in La Push, learning about vampires.
Who is your favorite character in Twilight and why?
Bella, Jacob, Alice. Bella because she is SUCH A KLUTZ! Jacob 'cause...well, you'll find out in Book 2. Alice because she's so spunky. Who wouldn't love her?

What to do When Someone You Know Has BO
At some point in life, u will b hanging out w/ some ppl who smell. maybe they don't hav enough money for deodorant, or perhaps they 4got to shower...maybe they just naturally stink or perhaps they're a hillbillie. whatevr, it is, i can imagine it's distincty unpleasant. as an experianced proffesional i advise u take the suggestions below (provided from 211 Things A Clever Girl Can Do, by Bunty Cutler) to stop the stink from poisoning ur sense of smell. The regular print btwn the quotation marks is directly from the book, the ones in italics outside the marks r my own personal help.
1) "The occasional comment to the room in general: 'What is that curious scent, ladies?" Go up to her- 'ewwwww, do u smell something- or is it just YOU! ' u know i wuz just kidding about that right? RIGHT?!
2) "Open a window near her." that may work...maybe...
3) "Leave deodorant...near her desk or bag." she'll probably b bewildered and wonder where on earth it came from, but it's worth a shot...maybe...
4) "Buy strongly scented flowers and put them near her desk." doensn't sound so inconspicuous to me!
5) "Offer the occasional squirt of air freshner or perfume in her direction and ask if she likes the fragrance". that could work...but what happens when u run outta perfume? X.X
6) "Ping her an anonymous email." i don't know about u, but i'd b pretty freaked out if some anonymous person that i don't know just sends me a random letter on BO!
7) "If all else fails, then now is time to find out what you are made of. Tell your colleague in private that you've noticed there may b problems with her personal hygiene- be kind because BO can be the sign of underlying problems, medical and emotional."no comment
8) "If you have no luck, it's time to get your own back. Leave a bag of sardines in her desk drawer. If this has no effectl drag her outside, take the fire extinguisher off the wall, and hose her down. Even if it doesn't work, you'll feel better." oh, yah! this is what i'm talking about (just kidding)!

3 Random Facts!
Here, r 3 listed things that i thought u should know!
1) The loofah is a tropical vine fruit. (Is loofah a cool word or what?!)
2) Loudest recorded snore: 87 decibals. Put this into comparison- typical vacum cleaner: 70 decibals.
3) Cat bites r rarer than dog bites but more prone to infection. (y u care...? i do not know!)

Coco Juniper's 50th Anniversarry is Friday! (Pleez Read Through This Thoroughly)
u heard me mention it b4- so ur probably wondering, what is the 50th Anniversarry? It is, my friend, a celebration of 50 great (hopefully, great anyway) blog posts here on http://www.cocojuniper.blogspot.com/! I hav planned a few fun things and some surprises that u can enjoy on the 50th anniverssary! and i want this 2 b great, but it can't b great unless i hav ur help. as u may hav noticed, not many people come 2 this blog, mainly because it's fairly new. so, i really want 2 ask u 2 pleez, pleez help me out and tell lotsa people about this blog. then, when i hav lots of ppl, there'll b lots more conversations going along in the comment boxes, more interviews or 'takeovers' with other ppl, more videos and games, etc. suggested 2 b put on this blog and more. so, if u could do that- that'd b great. :)
now it's time 2 get 2 another important (relevant) matter. u probably noticed, that unless u sign in w/ ur google or gmail account- u cannot comment posts. which is, yes, a bummer. i do this, because it's a safety procedure- used 4 protecting my blog from other spammy yucky stuff. now of course, u guys r not spammy or yucky so it's not fair that u shouldn't be able 2 comment. and 2 b honest, i really, really, really want comments! so aftr a while, since i haven't had comments in ages, i begin 2 feel a bit stupid- almost as if im talking 2 myself. and i dont' really know how 2 improve this blog 2 ur likings because u r unable 2 comment (well, most of u r). so this blog isn't nearly as good as it could b. so, what i am going 2 do is on the 50th anniversarry, i will take down the security for one day only! and u will be able 2 comment freely, as anonymous or named users. but, remember that it is HIGHLY suggested that u get a gmail account.
now, pleez, remember- it's okay 2 go wild w/ the comments. on the 50th anniverssary u will take the time 2 go 2 maybe ALL of the posts and giv TONS of feed-back. enough is nevr enough. do as many as u please! but b absolutely careful 2 use ur nicknames only and 2 speak appropriately. i do hope u know what that means. no swears, giving away personal information of u or others, bad talk (i don't need 2 define that- do i?!).
THE PERSON WHO DOES THE MOST COMMENTS ON THE 50TH ANIVERSARRY (ONLY) WILL GET AN HONORABLE MENTION HERE ON THIS BLOG. b that person!
u should also know that the Coco Juniper (http://www.cocojuniper.blogspot.com/) 50th Anniversarry will b taking place FRIDAY, AUGUST 29 2008, probably very early in the morning. So b sure 2 b there- I'm counting on u, and bring ur friends and family too!

Quick Prank: Stamping the Victim's Butt
Want 2 do a quick prank? You'll need a few sticky-notes (post-its), a marker or other writing utensil, a chair, a victim, and a clever mind (well, maybe not clevr- more like wicked or cheeky). If all goes well, you would hav successfuly stamped the victim's butt.
Take the marker and write on the sticky-note, anything that u would find amusing or weird or crazy or random. i'd focus on the weird or the amusing bit though.
after you'd done that, u can take the sticky note and place it with the sticky side UP on the seat of a chair.
wait. if ur too impatient to do that, then u can speed up the process a bit. somehow convince the victim 2 sit in the seat. whatevr u can think of, may work.
hav the person sit on it. when they get up, stick your knuckle in your mouth to stop laffing- a bit of a giveaway. and- TADAH! u did it! (hopefully)
If u hav any ideas on what 2 put on the sticky-note or how 2 convince the person 2 sit on it, or any of your test-runs on this prank, PLEEZ POST A COMMENT!

My Friend, Ride (And My Counselor- Old Man)
TIP: Are you in the process of being forced to do something against ur will? here's a tip on how 2 weasel out of it. Simply look around the group of people ur in (if ur not in a group of people then too bad) and find the guy who is even more less willing 2 do what ur forced 2 do. then say: "I'll do this only if he/she does". Then, every1's attention will turn to the subject of ur sentance, and off of u. if all goes well, the terrified victim will not give into them, and neither 1 of u will hav 2 do this. this is very good at getting pressure off of u, if ur not so good at arguing.
For example: "I shall only eat these mushrooms if Bramble eats his".
" I shall only wear a dress if Lizic wears 1 too" (i like this 1!)
as u know, i wuz recently away. i went 2 a really cool place- but im not gonna advertise on that. at the place all the kids could do camps at their stay. They didn't hav 2, but its funner when they did. i wuz in a group called "Noch Squad" whatevr that means. i basically did a lot of cool adventure stuff in addition to swimming evry day and eating lunch. like high ropes, for example. high ropes is when u twirl around, walk around, bounce around, go upside-down, etc. 15-50 ft. in the air. that wuz fun, but takes a lot of nerve at points, even if u r on a harness and rope.
at one point there wuz a "leap of faith". it wuz basically a tree, with a platform about 50 feet in the air. aftr struggling 2 climb up the tree, u would step onto the platform and...jump off. now this wuz hard 4 some people bcause doing this wuz strictly against nature, against instinct, against you.
i didn't feel like doing this at first, but i eventually had little choice. this wuz because 1 of the girls in my group (my friend, who i will call Ride, because she always wore a thick, black, sweatshirt even on days when its 80 degrees out! anyway, her sweatshirt always said "ride".) really didn't want to go on the leap of faith, so using the strategy in the TIP above, she went "I'll only go if she comes too." and of course, she meant me.
so then when the camp counselor who's official name is Pete, but i shall call Old Man (as all the other campers called him) started persuading me 2 do it, the rest of Noch Squad kicked in. After a while, i wuz getting a headache from the noise so i decided to go. it wusn't easy, but i went. i felt rather good after doing it though, but i don't think i'll go on it again. X-P
then when Ride went on it, she chickened out b4 she even reached the platform- before she wuz even a half way up the tree. i didn't envy her though, Old Man gave her a tuff time aftr that because she had always seemed so confident and sure of herself in everything, b4 this. "What happened to the rough tough cream puff?" he asked. "You can't hang w/ the big dogs in the evening but sleep w/ the puppies in the morn." i thought that though, both of his statements made sense, it wuz still very weird. and Ride didn't change her mind.
howevr, i am in no position 2 call her coward. as when i took the 'catwalk' (a thin, slippery log 15 ft in the air that u hav 2 walk across) i chickened out as soon as i wuz up on it. i didn't giv Old Man any time 2 persuade me 2 take it though, because i jumped off b4 he got the chance. that's another good tip. if u chicken out mid-way, destroy ur chances of doing the terrible thing, so nobody can bug u after and try 2 make u do it ovr again.
don't get me wrong, i don't like cowards or chickens. but sometimes u hav 2 admit there's a certain line btwn "bravery" and "stupidity" that i am careful not to cross. so if i don't feel like doing something, then i don't do it (unless there's a real reason y i should). in the last case i did it for Ride. and, i don't regret it. the only thing i wish i did wuz push Ride in the pool, getting her back 4 not repaying what she owed me. o well. ;)

Man-Jokes, and Angry Weasels
i shall get 2 the man-joke and angry weasel part aftr this.
How 2 tell when a joke gets OLD. this is 1 of those life skills that every1 needs 2 know. it varies from person 2 person though.
wat i notice is that little kids (3-8 years old) can't really tell when a joke gets old. once, when my brother Lizic Juniper had a friend ovr, i told him (the friend) a joke. or it wasn't really a joke. In a deep husky voice i said "Come 2 the dark side" then in a sweet girly swoon i said "we hav cookies." anyway, 5 monthes ltr he came up 2 me and did the same exact joke. apparently he had been rambling on it for ages. well, it would b unfair to say it wuz the exact same joke, because he changed it a little. instead of "we hav cookies" it wuz "we hav comcast cable". but, doh, u can c where he got it from. and he continued 2 penetrate me with more, some varying to "we hav Ashley Tisdale" and "we hav super-giant man-eating pythons." anyway, he just couldn't get when a joke gets old. by the time he had finally given up on it (a half month after he shared his 'comcast cable' shoutout) my bros and i were sick of it. im completely honest. so don't try to tickle me with that joke. cuz i don't think its funny.
another thing that little kids don't get is wats funny. think of it this way, wat makes little kids laff is 1 (or a mixture) of all the things listed aftr. 1) people getting hurt 2) poo jokes (come on- u don't know these?!) 3) pranks (tied in w/ the 'people getting hurt' concept). now of course, pranks r still funny no mattr how old u get, but the thing is little kids don't know when they've gon too far...or when they haven't. it's pretty funny- but my brothers (especially Bramble, less of Lizic) think they're super bad. they act all macho and stuff, and yet their pranks r completely and totally harmless. when i had my friend Sunny ovr, his idea of a joke wuz tossing a rubber bounce ball in my room. not hard, not fiercely, not even touching me or Sunny. then he squealed like a little girl: "RUN!" and darted away. YAWN!
don't get me wrong- i don't WANT my brothers 2 get macho. i wasn't complaining- i wuz simply stating facts.
when kids get oldr of course their pranks get more mature. sly. devious. evil. well, sometimes.
some kids, when they get oldr, they DON'T get more mature, and their pranks stay virtually the same (maybe a few extra bonus's tagged in- but u get the idea). and this may nvr change 4 them, ltr in life. there's a word for this, u know- the people that don't get mature. it's: MEN.
oh, all right, that wuz sexist (maybe true, but sexist all the same). in some cases, some men can b smart, and some women...a rare few...aren't. but no mattr what gender, there's a word (yes, my word) for the jokes they tell.
man-joke: (MANN-joek) 1 a joke only a man could laff at. 2 a very very bad joke told by an adult.
oh yah, and the word "man-jokes", or "man-joke" is MY WORD and u can't hav it!
but, if ur gonna put it on ur blog or site, etc. then u'll hav 2 tell WHERE the word came from (ME!) if u don't, i shall set a angry weasel on u.
...no i won't actually set an angry weasel on u. but i shall get u back- and it shall b bad. worse even. count on it! >.< u know i AM serious- right?!

Beijing Olympics
One of the most impressive and astounding preformances i hav evr seen wuz the opening 2 the Beijing 2008 Olympics. The show wuz not only near-impossible to act out, but it wuz very symbolic and it made u think. It also showed a peek into the Chinese culture, such as the Silk Road, and Confucionism.
I couldn't find anything on YouTube that even showed just a tiny bit of the opening, but i did find this 1 video that might help u c how very...very cool the Olympics r. so go w/ that. and if u can, go serf the TV channels 2 c if there's anything on it about that.
not 2 mention that i hope u go 2 the video bar and c wat's there
here's the address u can go 2: http://www.youtube.com/watchv=EYnKQkCXCz8&feature=bz303

Air Fresheners and Other Matters
okay, i admit, i do hav some weird tendacies, if u haven't figured so much from reading my past posts. and perhaps it's time 2 share another 1.
i can get a little carried away w/ air freshners, especially in a house like mine. unlike, perfumes, air freshners r good bcuz they don't smell like something died in a rose garden. of course, i hav a fairly sensitive nose, so 2 all of u who like the smell of death in flowers pleez ignore me, because i didn't mean any offense. anyway, i got pretty excited when i first uncovered this tiny can of air freshner in the cupboard sink. normally, my house doesn't stock up on these kind of things, so u could tell this wuz 1 of those supernatural phonomenons that apparently do happen every now and again. of course, it wuz old, like my parents probably bought it in the late eighties, but i wuz so happy 2 c it that it didn't make much of a difference. i went spazztic and before u know it, my entire house smells like air-freshner. i'm sorry, but i couldn't help it. my house did smell bad after all.
i am yet 2 find out how my family will react 2 this recent development.
enough about this! i hope i didn't bore u.
another thing u should probably know is that i am going away on a family vacation about the entire of this week, so...bye! this might b the last post u hear of me b4 i go away on vk, unless another burst of inspiration hits me.... but anyway- u can still hav lots of fun- the endangered animal and the quote of the day r 4evr changing so u can enjoy that. not 2 mention the new games of hangman and pacman r still there along w/ all that... i hope 2 b talking 2 u again soon (of course im not really talking 2 u since nobody's been commenting but, yeah...) so pleez stay tuned. ttyl! ;)

Journey to the Center of the Earth
"ladies and gentlemen i giv u the center of the earth!"
yesterday i went 2 c "Journey to the Center of the Earth" in 3-D at the movie theaters. And it wuz AWESOME! :D
Journey to the Center of the Earth is one of those movies that is wa-a-a-a-a-ay more fun in 3-D. If ur gonna c the movie, ya HAV 2 c it in 3-D. And ur gonna hav 2 c the movie- it's that good!
2 b honest, it wasn't my idea 2 go c it. from the advertisements on TV, it looked kinda fake. but trust me- w/ those 3-D glasses on nothing looked fake! :D
and it wuz definetly thrilling. corny at times- but definetly thrilling ovrall! in addition, it also had plenty of laffs. if u hav seen the movie b4 then take the time 2 c the meaning in the next sentence. "Dibs".
lol.
the movie contained several references to the book "Journey to the Center of the Earth" but technically, it wasn't a remake of the novel. i can't tell u more then that, because i haven't read the book, but iv heard a lot of good things about it so my hopes r high!
i won't giv u the summary of the movie, just bcause that would ruin it so instead i giv u two snippits of the movie ovr at the video bar. pleez take ur time 2 answer the poll and tell me which of the two snippits u liked the best.

Platypus Tribute
This post is dedicated 2 my friend Sunny- and her love 4 platypus'.
Well, actually i don't know whether she still likes platypus' but whatevr.
Platypus' r cool. They're like this...thing that waddles about w/ a flattened beaver tail and what looks like a duck bill. and they r AWESOME! If u don't believe me then go watch "Perry the Platypus" at the Video Bar.
...
Perry is cool, especially since he's a platypus. and evn more so bcause he's a SECRET AGENT. weird, huh? He's from "Phineas and Ferb", two boys who just build crazy stuff, totally oblivious that their pet platypus is a secret agent. they also hav a very prying older sister, but that's not what we're talking about. is it evn legal that u can hav a platypus pet? how did a platypus bcome a secret agent? and what kind of names r "Phineas and Ferb"?! Iv nevr heard anything quite like it.
*FYI: Ferb, from Phineas and Ferb, NEVER TALKS! (usually, anyway)

WALL-E
Who is WALL-E? For all of u who haven't seen Disney Pixar's movie released this June, i recommend u go try it out. It's about a robot named WALL-E that is designed to clean up the earth while the humans live in outer space. After 700 years of non-stop clean up WALL-E has developed a little glitch- a personality.
Curious WALL-E meets a highly-advanced space robot and he is facenated by her. However, when Eva is taken back to the humans, WALL-E follows, and lands himself in a lot of trouble.
I've seen the movie, and i like it alot- but it's the kind of thing u can't fully understand unless u c it in ur own eyes. so i'll stop telling u about it.
I'm doing a terrible job of explaining this, so i'll stop now.
Anyway- i put up the trailer 2 the movie 4 all of u 2 kindof get a hold of. Tell me what ya think of it! :)

Twilight Books & Stephenie Meyer
right now, im going 2 put out there another book that is really making a statement! Welcome 2 the wonderful world of TWILIGHT books.
One morning, Stephenie Meyer woke up with a vivid picture of a teenage vampire with an ordinary girl. The two of them were falling in love, but the vampire -anguished and torn- was fighting btwn the desire 4 the young lady's affection...and her blood. It was on that day that she started writing Twilight, lightly, but as time went by she found that she couldn't stop.
Meyer finished writing in three months, and soon had $750,000 and a three-book-deal, something u don't always c in the first-time author.
But, as Business Week explains, her success was not only based on her creativity and imagination, but it wuz also bcause she's an active weblogger. Meyer did interviews w/ bloggers, commented on fan-sites, and created her own more gentle website, feeling that the darkly gothic fan sites didn't fit her entirely. She interacted a lot w/ readers, and gav bubbly updates about her life and family, giving many pictures of her three sons. She also answered many (random) questions thrown at her by teens alike: "If Bella (ordinary girl) ever had a pet, would it b hard 4 Edward (vampire) 2 come around?"
Inspiring many w/ her interaction, Meyer's popularity grew. Eventually, she had 2 pull her email off her site, etc. but she hasn't stopped caring even if she is losing connection. I haven't read these books 4 myself, but am starting 2 do so just bcause the fantasy world of vampires x werewolves sounds really cool! i will try 2 keep u updated on that (w/ out giving away anything) and hopefully u guys can add 2 this and that.
*The last Stephenie Meyer novel just out has a print run of 3.2 million. WOW!*

Junk Collages, Nude Barbies, and Bazookas
My day so far had been rather eventful. I did a art project...well, at least i hope it wuz art. basically i took mounds and mounds of junk (buttons, legos, candy wrappers, beads, bits of fabric, old locks, etc., etc., etc.) and made a collage...kindof. well, it wuz fun even if it does resemble something my cat hacked up. -.-'
i also babysat my bros- Bramble and Lizic Juniper- which was very...uh...um...what's the word i'm looking for...? I'll get back 2 u on that. Like me, Lizic created a junk collage, but Bramble decided that he'd prefer 2 do a bazooka gun. -.-' As if my brother wuzn't dangerous enough w/out a weapon! Well, the good news is that the bazooka project hasn't worked out. Bad news: i had 2 watch him play with Barbies for 2+ hours straight. Worser news: THE BARBIES WERE NAKED! i couldn't persuade him to put some clothes on the poor things.
How should i conclude this? Well- the art project wuz cool, the barbie business both frightens, facenates, and amuses me all at once, and the bazooka is still awaiting it's comeback. My mom doesn't seem at all worried about my brother's bazooka plans. She says it's creative.
-.-' And, yeah, that wuz my day. No lie.

Warrior Cats- The Great Journey
i think i gave a little introduction about Warrior Cats a while ago, but in lesser detail. Now, however, i want to focus on the 2nd series of Erin Hunter's Warriors.
Put it this way: the home of cats in the forest is being torn down by humans so they can make a new high-way. "they r all down in a big pit of doo-doo" my brother Lizic Juniper clarifies. But, there is hope. the ancestors of the cats, all up in StarClan (like a kitty-heaven) hav picked 4 cats to travel 2 the "sun-drown-place" on a Great Journey. They all picked 1 cat from each of the 4 clans (ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, and ShadowClan), plus a few extras tagged along. Here they r:
Brambleclaw: (chosen cat from ThunderClan) he is the leader, brave, and decisive. Unfortunately for him, he is yet to live down the remaining memory of Tigerstar (deceased murderer) who just happens to b his father.
Stormfur: (brother of the chosen cat from RiverClan) he is the thinker, sensible, and alert. He tagged along, to make sure his sister- Feathertail- would b safe.
Feathertail: (chosen cat from RiverClan) she is the peace, gentle, and forgiving. She is, like her brother, a half-clan cat (her mother was RiverClan but her father was ThunderClan), which may b y she encouraged harmony btwn all the cats though they didn't all get along at first.
Tawnypelt: (chosen cat from ShadowClan) she is the guts, fierce, and bold. Sister of Brambleclaw, she could not liv down the burden of her father so she left ThunderClan 4 ShadowClan as 2 b accepted 4 who she was.
Crowpaw: (chosen cat from WindClan) he is the diplomat, prickly, and proud. Since he is the only chosen cat that is not a warrior, but is rather still an apprentice, he always makes an effort to argue. He may b the most misunderstood cat in the group because he, unlike the others, does not hav any kin or friends w/ him on the Great Journey.
Squirrelpaw: (annoying furball tagging along from ThunderClan) she is the energy, fiesty, and eager. She was not chosen to come along, but forced Brambleclaw 2 take her. Somehow she tends to manage 2 get the group into trouble.
if u want 2 know about the cats, then i suppose it's only necessary that u learn about their vocabulary too. they have many different words 4 different meanings, but i only had time for a few.
sun-drown-place: ocean
leaf-bare: winter
stupid fur-ball: an insult, usually used for friendly teasing.
mouse-dung: a greater insult then 'stupid fur-ball'.
fox dung: the worst insult you can give to a cat, often considered a "warriors swear"
any questions, comments, etc? post a comment pplz! i luv feed-back! i'll try and c if i can find a warrior cat video to explain this in more detail, but until then, byez!

Annoying Your Brothers 101!
Try these on your brother/siblings- it's a KO (well, kinda)!
1) Go up to your brother. Look very serious. Say: "I know this will break your heart, but you can't go on not knowing." Take a big breath. Speak very clearly and slowly. "Your pants are not on fire."
*Alternate: Run up 2 brother. "Your pants are not on fire!" Run away.
2) Somehow convince bro that you have been researching palm readings and that you've discovered that you can do readings on the sole of your shoe. Take the shoe, rub it thoughtfully, and look very serious. after a while, turn to your brother and say: "From what i can read on your sole...you will be going on a trip. very soon." then throw the shoe as far as you can and run away cackling madly.
Apologize later though. Say u can make it up to him by doing a real palm reading, on socks. This should scare the dude.
Ya, it's immature! :P
3) Bring him shopping (the torture to him!)
4) Get the "overreactor" disease and offer to spend the day with him! (The overreactor disease is when you totally overreact on EVERYTHING he says, and u spend ur entire time sucking up 2 him. For example:
Bro: I like gum.
You: (talk really fast) OMG! So do i! isn't gum like so-o-o good? It has soo many yummy flavors, like it can b fruity and minty and cinnamon and original and more! and you can chew it and chew it and chew it and don't we have so-o-o much in common. You like gum- I LIKE GUM! this is like soooo a coincidence!
Bro: Okay, can you not do that?!
You: (talk really fast) I kno-ow isn't that annoying? i was going to tell that to myself, because you know- i really had it coming! wouldn't the world be like so-o much bttr off without ppl doing this? i mean, hello, what r they thinking? isn't that so right? your right! i know we're right!
Bro: UGH!)
5) sing Caramelldansen from the video bar!

DUDE- JUST ZIP UP YOUR ZIPPER!
Yah, this is random, but 2 b honest- im running outta ideas of what 2 put on blog posts nowadays! that's where i need your help- if u hav any great ideas then pleez consider writing something under YouSpace or whatever. I know, i enabled it so that only ppl with Google and Gmail accounts can comment, and im sorry. it's just a safty procaution 2 stop from ending up w/ buckets of spam!
back 2 what i wuz saying- this is random. enjoy.
u know those times when some1 has their fly or pant zipper down, and ur trying 2 tell them that, but they don't get it? that's what happened 2 me. i wuz trying 2 break it easy so it wouldn't b embarrasing, but that didn't happen. observe:
Me: Oh, hey- your barn door's open!
Zipper Victim: barn door?
Me: no- i mean...your trapdoor collapsed!
ZV: (makes face) what?
Me: uh... (thinking desperately) XYZ!
ZV: MNOP
Me: (confuzzled) what?
ZV: it's the...you know...alphabet?
Me: (blink...blink...)
ZV: never mind.
Me: uh...your fly...
ZV: oh. (sees unzipped fly) (looks embarrased) right. (walks off quickly)

Camping Tips & Rumors
Since i hav been away camping this past week, i think i owe it 2 u all 2 giv u lots of thorough camping tips. i hav been looking around and hearing lots of rumors about camping so i also think i owe it 2 u 2 giv my all on those rumors. anyway, pleez enjoy.
Q: R bugs there really bad?
A: Yes. But, if u want 2 help control them, then b sure 2 use Bug Spray. Also, they r attracted 2 bright clothing so try not do wear mind-boggling yellow on a camping trip if u can help it.
Q: I heard that bugs r attracted 2 pretty scents like shampoos and soaps used on yourself. Should i not shower anymore?
A: NO! Still shower! if u don't shower on a camping trip then you're GROSS!
Q: AHHH! I GOT BITTEN BY A SNAKE!
A: Girl, what HAV u been doing? Well, first off, go get an adult. If u can't do that, then inspect the wound. If it's like it almost an oval shape with two layers of teeth, then it's probably not poisonous. If you can see the two fang marks in the wound, and there's only 1 layer of teeth then odds r that it IS poisonous. Just stay calm, go get help, and whatever u do- DON'T do the old "sucking out the poison ont he wound and spitting it out" thing that u c in movies. That doesn't work.
Q: Every1 tells me i should go everywhere w/ a buddy, and i'm sick of it! it's getting 2 b a pain!
A: too bad. still do it.
Q: I'm lost in the woods all alone!
A: stay calm and don't go anywhere. Unless they're morons, the rest of the group or some1 will realize ur gone and come searching 4 u. just stay where u r and hum some campfire songs 2 pass time.
Q: HELP! IM GOING 2 HAV 2 EAT SPAM!
A: flee 2 the nearest toilet and pretend 2 b sick.
Q: Seriously?
A: No, of course not! that wuz a joke.
Q: Oh. Then what do i do?
A: there ain't nothing u can do. it's 1 of life's tragedies. live with it.
there r way more camping tips i could giv, but im not. too bad. im lazy. get ovr it. so, instead, go occupy urself w/ a ham and cheese sandwich or something. bye.

Black Socks and Other Nonsense
"Bla-a-ack socks, they never get dirty!
The longer you were 'em, the stronger they get!
So-o-ometimes, i think i should wash 'em
but somethin' inside me is sayin' 'not yet, not yet, not yet'"
That is just a small taste about the kind of campfire songs i sang at my camp that i departed 2. not only is it kinda fun 2 sing, it haz a good moral: stay away from ppl w/ black socks (especially if they're singing the song above). Odds r, that they hav stinky feet!
Nah, im only kidding. If some1 haz black socks then that doesn't mean that they automatically hav stinky feet. In fact, it's hard 2 tell if some1 smells bcuz of their socks. Usually ppl wearing shirts like "i don't shower" or something r the 1s u should look out 4. Then again, nobody really makes 'i don't shower' shirts anymore (not that that's a huge surprise! they must hav run outta business if they did.)
im babbling nonsense. i had hoped that after a week of fresh air, i would hav been able 2 stun u all w/ some incredible writing. i guess the incredible part will hav 2 come ltr. i hope i didn't disappoint u. ughhh.....
